Say hello to ReedWrites

Oscar Reed is the man behind ReedWrites.co.uk. He is based in North London but comes from the North West - something that often feeds into his writing.

With a background in (reluctantly) performing stand-up comedy and a MA in Screenwriting from London College of Communications, the bulk of his writing is comedy for the screen. However, he is comfortable writing across various tones, and this website acts as an outlet for all the kinds of content he wants to create.

Current projects include a book of short stories based on his extensive (shit) job history, an essay film about bins, and a dark-comedy short film set in his native North West. You know, the usual?

Outside of writing, passions include:​

• football (aspiring Leicester City season ticket holder)

• films (from the stupid to the stupidly pretentious)

• music (though annoyingly The Beatles always seem to be his Spotify artist of the year)

• running (trying to complete at least one marathon per year for the rest of time)
